Ville de Québec, QC (10 septembre 2019) – Ensemble, l’Association canadienne de physiothérapie (ACP) et l’Association québécoise de la physiothérapie (AQP) sont fières d’annoncer un nouveau partenariat qui renforcera les deux associations et accroîtra les avantages pour leurs membres. L’ACP et ses homologues provinciales sont plus fortes ensemble et l’intégration de l’AQP au sein de l’ACP renforce la capacité de représenter et de soutenir la croissance de la profession au Québec et au Canada.
Représentant 5 555 physiothérapeutes et 2 761 T.R.P., le marché québécois est le deuxième en importance au pays et cette alliance représente une occasion de s’assurer que la voix de tous les physiothérapeutes canadiens se reflète sur la scène nationale. Les membres conjoints de l’ACP et de l’AQP auront accès à des avantages nationaux comme l’accès aux produits d’assurance BMS, à des initiatives de représentation nationale, aux divisions de spécialité clinique, au perfectionnement professionnel et aux ressources sur la pratique en plus des avantages de l’adhésion offerts par l’AQP.

À partir de maintenant, les physiothérapeutes et les T.R.P. de partout au Québec peuvent s’inscrire ou renouveler leur adhésion existante à l’ACP ou à l’AQP par l’entremise de l’onglet ‘Mon compte’ sur le site web de l’ACP ou en appuyant sur le bouton rouge ‘Devenir membre’. Veuillez noter : si les membres du Québec tentent de renouveler leur adhésion par l’entremise du site de l’AQP, ils seront redirigés vers le site de l’ACP.

Quebec City, QC (September 10, 2019) – Together, the Canadian Physiotherapy Association (CPA) and the Association québécoise de la physiothérapie (AQP) proudly announce a new partnership which will strengthen both associations and increase the benefits to their members. The CPA and its provincial counterparts are stronger together and the integration of Quebec’s physiotherapy association enhances the ability to advocate and support the growth of the profession in Quebec and at the national level.
Representing 5,555 physiotherapists and 2,761 P.R.T.s, the Quebec market is the second largest in the country and this alliance presents an opportunity to ensure the voice of all Canadian physiotherapists are reflected on the national stage. The CPA and AQP’s joint members will have access to both national member benefits, such as access to the BMS insurance products, national advocacy initiatives, the specialty divisions, professional development, and practice resources – in addition to those membership benefits offered by the AQP.

Effective immediately, physiotherapists and P.R.T.s from across Quebec can sign up for, or renew an existing, CPA or AQP membership through CPA’s Account Centre. Please note: if Quebec members attempt to renew through the AQP site, they will be rerouted to the CPA Account Centre.
